Some of the benefits to being registered as a carer include carer breaks, free entry to the cinema when accompanying your cared for person and discounted or free parking when taking your cared for person to hospital or visiting them in hospital.
We also recommend you consider registering your cared for person with The Priority Services Register (PSR) which is free to join. It helps utility companies, including energy suppliers, electricity, gas and water networks look after customers who have extra communication, access or safety needs in the unlikely event of a power cut, gas or water supply interruption .
